Is Northern Cyprus part of Turkey or Cyprus? - Well it depends where you look at it from. From Turkey's point of view it's known as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. From Europe's point of view it does not recognise Northern Cyprus only Cyprus as a whole - the Republic of Cyprus - and this is part of the EU (even if Northern Cyprus isn't!).
We had a trip to southern Cyprus in 1999 and we have just added this to our website. We also went to Israel & Egypt whilst we were there.
